I started sewing because, as a lover of tote-bags, I noticed that there weren't a lot of cute and unique bags out there that fit my style. I wanted to rectify that by creating quirky, beautiful, and fun bags that are also heavy-duty enough for every day use.
After I mastered the totes, my sights quickly turned to purses, clutches, pillows, and other items. I try to find unique, stylish, and (when possible) up cycled fabrics that bring out one's personality, whether paired with a classic black dress or jeans and a t-shirt.
Soon, a friend and I began selling our wares at local craft/art shows, and after our success there, I decided to take my inventory to Etsy. While I love sewing, I've never forgotten my first love: the crochet hook, so you might find some cozy pieces here, too, if you prefer yarn to thread.
My shop earned its name because when I first began sewing, the bobbin was easily the most bewildering part of the whole process. It often malfunctioned for reasons unknown to me. Fortunately, I figured out the secret of the bobbin, and my trusty sewing machine & I were on a roll. I have even come to love the bobbin, but I will never forget those first few weeks of pure bewilderment.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you find something that fits your style!
